The space between the studs (the structural support members of a wall) is a very important area to be insulated.
When a structure or addition is being added or renovated, be sure not to forget the spaces between the walls!
Since walls are full of odd shaped cavities to allow for pipes and wiring, it is imperative to completely fill around these obstructions for the insulation to work properly.
